We are as strong academic based school committed to excellence.  The Phoenix Schools is a place where everyone is someone special.  The Rocklin campus prides itself not only on their advanced academic performance but also for their cultural, social and technological enrichment. Learning is brought outside the classroom in life labs where each class is responsible for the growing and harvesting of vegetables.  The Phoenix Schools ‘Life Skills’ program is an integral part of our curriculum (learn more by clicking on the Life Skills button).

Kindergarten Readiness is available for children who are approaching Kindergarten readiness.  Rocklin Elementary accommodates the need for quality before and after school care for those families who require an extended day.  These additional hours are very much appreciated by many of our families.

Our school is organized and designed to facilitate and enable ‘Teachers to Teach and Students to Learn’.  These efforts are reflected by staff and students alike.  The Phoenix Schools are proud to have been has been voted “Best of the Best” by the City of Folsom in recent years, along with our high Stanford Achievement scores.  

The academic school year is a traditional 9.5 year beginning in late August and ending in mid June.  The year is divided in to 4 quarters, with breaks at Thanksgiving, Winter Break in December and Spring Break in April.  Our hours of operation are from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  The before and after school care provides parent with the opportunity of dropping off early and picking up late without the unnecessary worry of having their child bused to another location.  Our academic day is from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for Kindergarten and 8:00 – 3:30 for 1^st – 8^th grades. 

Parents are an integral part of the educational process.  Parents have the opportunity to volunteer in our P E P Program (Parents as Educational Partners); this time helps to contribute to their child’s education and our schools success which in turn provides the highest quality education.
