We have been part of the Phoenix family since 2001. Both our sons started in the preschool program for early learning and interaction. As they thrived in preschool we chose to go on to the elementary school. We loved the curriculum and we can’t say enough about the staff and teachers we have had. Phoenix has given our children a wonderful foundation in learning, in values and respect. We have made many friendships in this safe, fun and caring environment. We believe we made the right choice for our sons.

Jodi Tremain — Second Grade

My name is Jodi Tremain and I am very excited to be part of the Phoenix family. I graduated from California State University, Chico in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CalStateTEACH (CSU, Fresno). I am a passionate person who loves working with children. I believe that every child has the right to learn and deserves the opportunity to succeed. I encourage this by continually setting high expectations and individual goals for my students as well as for myself. I believe as an educator, it is essential to empower students’ own abilities in order to develop and create an enriched self-esteem. Educating our children of tomorrow is a tremendous responsibility and something that I take very seriously. I would like to be not only a mentor, but also a positive role model. In addition to learning the basic subjects, I would like for my students to learn how to become better individuals by teaching them the differences between right and wrong, instilling in them high moral beliefs, and challenging them to become independent thinkers and relationship builders.
