Marsha Snell — 4th - 8th Grade
I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Credential (K-8). I grew up in Ventura and moved to the Sacramento area in 1996.
I have been part of The Phoenix Schools family since 1998. Over the past eight years, it has been my pleasure to work with, and be part of, a successful elementary school program. It is extremely beneficial for all to have a small student-teacher ratio and The Phoenix Schools philosophy of cross-curricular subjects. I have taught numerous students in many different subjects, with a primary focus on Social Studies. Our classes have enjoyed wonderful field trips to science camp, tall ships, and Gold Country each year.
During the spring, summer, and fall, I enjoy hiking through different areas of Northern California and gardening. Most recently I learned to kayak and I look forward to exploring the rivers and lakes in the years to come.
