Andie Schafer — First Grade

My name is Andie Schafer and I am a first grade teacher at Phoenix Elementary School, in Folsom. I was born and raised in Monterey, California. I earned my bachelor's degree from San Diego State University. While in San Diego, I worked part time in an elementary setting for 3 years. I moved back to Monterey after college to attend California State University of Monterey Bay where I completed my California Teaching Credential. In Monterey, I student taught second grade and taught a kindergarten/first grade combination class. Upon completing my credential I got married in Florence, Italy and moved to Sacramento with my husband. I am very passionate about teaching and look forward to each and every school day in which I can help students become successful leaders!
