Ashley Evans — P.E.

My name is Mrs. Evans, and I am very excited to be a part of the Phoenix family. I am the Physical Education teacher for pre-k through fifth grade. As a Physical Education teacher my goal is to teach my students the importance of being physically active and living a healthy lifestyle. Before teaching at Phoenix, I taught Elementary Physical Education in North Carolina.

I was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina. I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2006 with a B.A. in Physical Education and a minor in English. I am currently working on my masters in Elementary Education online through Liberty University.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs, Carver and Kona. I also love the beach, traveling, shopping, and going on long rides on my road bike.
