Linda De La Rosa — 4th - 8th Grade
I spent a big part of my childhood near Chicago, Illinois and my college years in San Francisco, California. I graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Psychology. My career began in Los Gatos, California teaching elementary math and science. I returned to college at this time for professional development in the area of teaching mathematics.
I moved to Folsom with my family in 1998 and began teaching third grade a The Phoenix Schools Elementary campus. I am now teaching math for the upper elementary and middle school grades and I could not be happier. I am a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. My goal is to deepen my understanding of how to teach children about mathematics to ensure learning of the highest quality.
Outside of The Phoenix Schools I enjoy camping and traveling with my husband and two daughters. I collect antiques, shells, and German nutcrackers and I would love to live at the beach.
